When the story of this class is written, it opens with Boubacar Traore at the 101st pick, a reach of 30 spots that the board flatly disagrees with. For now it grades a C, with the swing picks left to settle the rest.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. They banked enough surplus on Ponds to cover a lot of smaller sins.

The Ponds pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with interior defensive lineman, quarterback and other spots still on the board. They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.
