Nothing loud, just a tidy B for the Cardinals.

There is conviction, and then there is this. The Cardinals took Will Shipley a full 33 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. Small wins on the phones, but wins all the same.

The veteran additions, Tyler Allgeier chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
