The Cowboys did not so much draft Jalen Travis as overpay for him, 40 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. A near-flawless weekend of work, and a A- to cap it.

They will regret leaving wide receiver for another day if the season turns on it. That Walker pick is the receipt they will wave around later. Adding DeAndre Hopkins by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

Bottom line, with Walter Nolen leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
