The Lions cashed the board's mistake on Beck: B.

When a board-topper like Carson Beck slides to the 188th pick, you do not overthink it, and the Lions did not. The bottom line is a respectable B.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped linebacker, which is a strange place to end up. Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. They reloaded the coverage unit in bulk.

Good work on the whole, with linebacker the one box left unchecked.
