A sensible, unshowy class lands the Titans a B+.

Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Titans spent No. 239 on J.J. Weaver, a name most had 108 spots down the list. No fireworks, but a solid B+.

That Mondon Jr. pick is the receipt they will wave around later. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

The trade work was a quiet net positive. They went 7 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
