Landing Williams that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. If McLaughlin pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

If James Pearce Jr. and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
