Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Titans spent the 180th overall pick on Tyler Batty, a name most had 47 spots down the list. The board rewarded a patient, disciplined weekend with a A-.

The Huzzie steal is the beam this whole class leans on. The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

The Titans clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

Bottom line, they did the job about as well as it can be done.
