WinduMock DRAFTING FOR THETitans

Draft Grade — Titans
Overall
B
ValueB
NeedA-
TradesB-
FutureB-
The Titans checked most of the boxes and earned a B. You can draft well and still miss the point. The Titans did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to edge rusher, which was the need that mattered most.
If Moore pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
Pick Analysis
Pick6
Rnd1
Joe Alt
In pick 6 they get a plug-and-play piece up front. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick38
Rnd2
Keon Coleman
They took Keon Coleman at par in No. 38, which is nothing to complain about. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick106
Rnd4
Jason Marshall Jr.
Jason Marshall Jr. in the 106th pick is fair value, right on his grade. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Pick143
Rnd5
Malachi Moore
They jumped the gun on Malachi Moore, taking him earlier than his grade liked. Not a spot anyone had flagged, which makes it a head-scratcher.
Pick184
Rnd6
Bryce Foster
By-the-book stuff, Bryce Foster at the Round 6 slot squarely in line with his ranking. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick227
Rnd7
Cody Schrader
Cody Schrader in the 227th overall pick is exactly on the number, no argument either way. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
