When a board-topper like Ryan Fitzgerald slides to the Round 7 slot, you do not overthink it, and the Titans did not. Some smart calls, some head-scratchers, and a C+ in the wash.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman. They will need Kandra to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

So much rides on James Pearce Jr. that the real verdict is a season or two away.
