More right than wrong for the Titans, and a B- to prove it.

The weekend has a hole in the middle of it named edge rusher, a need the Titans walked right past.

They will need McCord to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. On value alone, Restrepo makes the weekend a net positive. Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.

A market-rate cornerback, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Travis Hunter. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick35 Rnd2 Aireontae Ersery
Aireontae Ersery at Round 2, Pick 3 jumps the queue by a touch more than is comfortable. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick103 Rnd4 Kyle McCord
They liked Kyle McCord enough to skip the value, taking him in pick 103. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick120 Rnd4 Xavier Restrepo
Xavier Restrepo slid further than he should have, and the 120th pick is lovely value for the wide receiver. The roster fit checks out.
Pick141 Rnd5 Tyler Shough
Tyler Shough in the Round 5 slot is exactly on the number, no argument either way. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick167 Rnd5 Damien Martinez
Damien Martinez in the 167th overall pick is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick178 Rnd6 Jaylen Reed
A reach for Jaylen Reed in No. 178; a little patience would have been rewarded. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick188 Rnd6 CJ West
CJ West at pick No. 188 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
