Draft Grade — Titans
Overall B+
ValueB- NeedA- TradesB- FutureA
Good, not great, for the Titans: B+.

Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Quinn Carroll at the 176th pick is 76 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline. They moved the roster forward and banked a B+ for it.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Skattebo. The veteran additions, Puka Nacua chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not. The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.

Pick Analysis
Pick3 Rnd1 Abdul Carter
In Round 1, Pick 3 they get juice off the edge. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick90 Rnd3 Demetrius Knight Jr.
Demetrius Knight Jr. at No. 90 is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick100 Rnd3 Andrew Mukuba
The board fumbled Andrew Mukuba all the way to pick 100, and they scooped it up. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
Pick101 Rnd3 Luke Kandra
They took Luke Kandra at par in pick No. 101, which is nothing to complain about. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick103 Rnd4 Mason Taylor
Nothing to complain about; Mason Taylor went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick118 Rnd4 Howard Cross III
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Howard Cross III. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick140 Rnd5 Jaylin Noel
A straight-up fair deal on Jaylin Noel at pick No. 140, value and slot in agreement. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick167 Rnd5 Cam Skattebo
Cam Skattebo at the 167th pick is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick176 Rnd6 Quinn Carroll
Quinn Carroll at No. 176 is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick239 Rnd7 KJ Jefferson
A big swing on KJ Jefferson at Round 7, Pick 23, well ahead of any board in the building. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
