It is the swing that defines the weekend: Jamaree Caldwell in slot 85, a good 44 spots before the room expected him. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

A whole weekend of picks and linebacker is somehow still a want. Getting Thornton Jr. where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

Job largely done: interior defensive lineman settled and 3 of 8 of the wish list covered. The skill positions did well by the weekend.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
