Draft Grade — Titans
Overall B
ValueB NeedB TradesC- FutureA
No fireworks, just a tidy B for the Titans.

The Titans did not so much draft Vincent Anthony Jr. as overpay for him, 41 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.

Daniels at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The dealing tilted against them, just enough to notice.

Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.

Pick Analysis
Pick11 Rnd1 Jeremiyah Love
In Round 1, Pick 11 they get a featured back. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick35 Rnd2 Colton Hood
A straight-up fair deal on Colton Hood at the Round 2 slot, value and slot in agreement. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
Pick66 Rnd3 Deontae Lawson
Nothing to complain about; Deontae Lawson went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick89 Rnd3 Eric Singleton Jr.
Eric Singleton Jr. slipping to pick 89 is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick90 Rnd3 Malachi Fields
Malachi Fields at slot 90 is money in the bank, a wide receiver taken below his worth. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick105 Rnd4 Adon Shuler
A slide stopped in No. 105, with Adon Shuler worth more than the price. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick142 Rnd5 Vincent Anthony Jr.
They talked themselves into Vincent Anthony Jr. at the 142nd pick, and the board did not agree. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick143 Rnd5 Kage Casey
Kage Casey in Round 5, Pick 4 is fair value, right on his grade. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick184 Rnd6 Jermaine Mathews Jr.
The board had Jermaine Mathews Jr. higher than the 184th overall pick, and the cornerback fell to them anyway. They doubled down on a strength rather than a need.
Pick238 Rnd7 Jalon Daniels
Somehow Jalon Daniels was still sitting there in the Round 7 slot, and they pounced on premier quarterback value. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
