FutureA
Good, not great, for the Titans: B. Somehow the biggest item on the list survived the weekend. The Titans never addressed offensive lineman, and it is the kind of gap that lingers. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.
Edwards has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The Laviska Shenault Jr. deal gives the class an established piece to lean on. They went 3 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the offensive lineman spot they never got to.
Pick Analysis
Pick33
Rnd2
Ja'Tavion Sanders
They took Ja'Tavion Sanders at par in No. 33, which is nothing to complain about. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick42
Rnd2
Donovan Edwards
Donovan Edwards at the Round 2 slot is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick65
Rnd3
Mekhi Wingo
Mekhi Wingo in the 65th pick is fine work, a shade of surplus and no downside. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
