Draft Grade — Titans
Overall A
ValueB NeedA- TradesA+ FutureA
The Titans cashed the board's mistake on King: A.

This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Kobe King, the No. 135 name on the board, stolen at the Round 7 slot. Just about everything broke right, and the A follows.

They will need Jackson to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The dealing alone would carry a lesser class.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman.

In the end it comes back to Abdul Carter, and a haul good enough to build on right away.

Pick Analysis
Pick3 Rnd1 Abdul Carter
In the Round 1 slot they get juice off the edge at fair value. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick35 Rnd2 Luther Burden III
They barely believed it either: Luther Burden III still on the board at No. 35. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick52 Rnd2 Donovan Jackson
Donovan Jackson in Round 2, Pick 20 is a bet on their own eyes over everyone else's grade. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick103 Rnd4 Harold Fannin Jr.
A tight end of that caliber at the 103rd overall pick is the definition of value, full stop. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick140 Rnd5 Danny Stutsman
The board fumbled Danny Stutsman all the way to the 140th pick, and they scooped it up. It fills a real need, too.
Pick176 Rnd6 Devin Neal
Devin Neal in pick 176 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick239 Rnd7 Kobe King
You do not let a linebacker like Kobe King reach slot 239 and blink. They did not. A need, and now a little less of one.
