The board owed the Titans one, and it paid up: Jordan Phillips, the No. 108 name on the board, sitting there at the 141st pick like a gift left on the doorstep. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B+.

That offensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own. The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.

The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.
