The weekend has a hole in the middle of it named offensive lineman, a need the Chiefs walked right past. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

Smith at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. The Johnson reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade.

Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
