The Broncos ran the phones like sharks, prying loose value on deal after deal until the ledger was lopsided.

The Broncos indulged a want in Jackson while a need in interior defensive lineman and tight end stayed open. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

They are betting Gentry proves the room right and everyone else wrong. Robinson falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
