The Broncos cashed the board's mistake on Milroe: D.

Every swap seemed to tilt away from the Broncos, and the value they bled adds up to real damage. Hard to defend, and the D reflects that.

They banked enough surplus on Milroe to cover a lot of smaller sins. Leaving linebacker unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Every board in the league had Johnson lower, and that gap is the story.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and linebacker is still a hole.
