The Bears robbed the room for Mondon Jr.. Final grade: B-.

The Bears did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Smael Mondon Jr. fell into the Round 6 slot. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

The Grant reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.

Interior defensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
