Coleman should have been long gone. The Bears pounced, and earned a B.

This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Jonah Coleman, the No. 165 name on the board, stolen at Round 6, Pick 28.

Reaching for Slaughter left real value on the table behind him. The cornerback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
