The Commanders found their guy under center in Daniels: B+. The search is over. The Commanders handed the keys to Jayden Daniels, and the whole operation now runs on his development. No fireworks, but a solid B+.
Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Johnson. They are betting Jackson proves the room right and everyone else wrong. The Commanders clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.
The trade work was a quiet net positive.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
