Larceny in Round 7, Pick 22 lands the Patriots a A-, Skattebo and all.

This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Cam Skattebo, the No. 114 name on the board, stolen at Round 7, Pick 22. Add it all up and it grades out a clean A-.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. They will need Turner to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it.

They will answer for taking linebacker early while edge rusher and quarterback went begging.

Bottom line, they did the job about as well as it can be done.
