More right than wrong for the 49ers, and a B- to prove it.

The rest of the league had time to spare on Tim Smith; the 49ers did not wait, grabbing him 85 spots ahead at the 252nd pick. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

That Wilson pick is the receipt they will wave around later. A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
