They will call it conviction in the building and a reach everywhere else: Fadil Diggs, 63 picks early at No. 171. Call it a C- and check back in two years.

They have staked the next five years on Cam Ward, which is the only story that really matters here. That Egbuka pick is the receipt they will wave around later. The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close.

Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.
