The 49ers lost the trade table, and the D tells the story.

The 49ers torched the value chart for Kingsley Eguakun, taking him 48 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted. It grades a D, and the process earned it.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. The Jones pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with quarterback and edge rusher still on the board.

They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. On value alone, Abrams-Draine makes the weekend a net positive.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, quarterback very much included.
