ELI DRAFTING FOR THEBears

FutureA+
The Bears left with their quarterback, and a A- to match. The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Bears reached some 72 spots for Justin Eboigbe, and value like that does not grow back.
The whole projection now runs through Jayden Daniels; hit there and everything else looks smarter. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck.
If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman.
Bottom line, with Jayden Daniels leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
Pick Analysis
Pick9
Rnd1
Jayden Daniels
In No. 9 they get a passer to set the clock by at fair value.
Pick50
Rnd2
Blake Corum
They left a pile of value on the table to take Blake Corum this early at slot 50. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick53
Rnd2
Roman Wilson
Quietly one of the better values of the day, Roman Wilson at the 53rd pick. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick75
Rnd3
Tommy Eichenberg
They talked themselves into Tommy Eichenberg at the Round 3 slot, and the board did not agree. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick122
Rnd4
Justin Eboigbe
Justin Eboigbe in Round 4, Pick 22 is a bet on their own eyes over everyone else's grade. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick158
Rnd5
Steele Chambers
A wild overpay on Steele Chambers in the 158th overall pick, the sort that defines a class for the wrong reasons. A need, and now a little less of one.
