The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Panthers reached some 25 spots for AJ Barner, and value like that does not grow back. No fireworks, but a solid B-.

They punted on safety, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 7 of 9 of the wish list covered.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
