FOXY KNOXY DRAFTING FOR THESeahawks
Draft Grade — Seahawks
Overall

FutureB-
The Seahawks let Reese fall into their laps, and walked away with a B. Everything else got attention, and edge rusher got none. That is a strange way for the Seahawks to leave a draft. More right than wrong, and a B to match.
Landing Reese that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. If Endries pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. Offensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.
Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
Pick Analysis
Pick31
Rnd1
Arvell Reese
In slot 31 they get the heartbeat of the defense, and a steal at that. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick63
Rnd2
Colton Hood
No drama and no debate, Colton Hood went about where he belonged in the 63rd overall pick. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Pick95
Rnd3
Jack Endries
The board had cheaper options than Jack Endries at pick 95, and it noticed. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick183
Rnd6
Monroe Mills
Monroe Mills at No. 183 is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
