FutureB+
The steal of the weekend belongs to the Seahawks and Price: A-. You could see the war room lean forward. Jadarian Price at the 92nd pick is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. Just about everything broke right, and the A- follows.
They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.
Bottom line, they left the weekend a clearly better team, and they earned every bit of it.
Pick Analysis
Pick47
Rnd2
Dillon Thieneman
The board fumbled Dillon Thieneman all the way to pick No. 47, and they scooped it up. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick70
Rnd3
Jacob Rodriguez
Jacob Rodriguez in No. 70 is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick92
Rnd3
Jadarian Price
Somehow Jadarian Price was still sitting there in slot 92, and they pounced on premier running back value. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick96
Rnd3
Keylan Rutledge
Steal is underselling it; Keylan Rutledge at the 96th overall pick is a heist with the alarm still ringing. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
