The Bills looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took CJ Dippre at slot 206 regardless, 34 picks early. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

If one pick saves this weekend, it is Alexander. With offensive lineman, safety and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on cornerback is the choice that costs them.

Leaving offensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Linebacker is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Good work on the whole, with offensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
