There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Bears started one anyway for Phillip Webb, 102 picks ahead of schedule. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

However the rest shakes out, Starks at that price is a win they earned. With cornerback, linebacker and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on safety is the choice that costs them. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped cornerback, which is a strange place to end up.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.

Good work on the whole, with cornerback the one box left unchecked.
