The Cowboys ran the phones like sharks, prying loose value on deal after deal until the ledger was lopsided. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

The Watts value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

Reaching for Cross III left real value on the table behind him.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
