The Bears put a flag in the ground for Darius Robinson, 67 picks before anyone else would have, and the value took the hit.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up.

The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own. The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
