You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Cardinals did exactly that with Drew Allar in the 98th overall pick.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.

They banked enough surplus on Haulcy to cover a lot of smaller sins.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even.
