Robertson should have been long gone. The Bengals pounced, and earned a B+.

Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Bengals came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close. Good, not great, and the B+ says as much.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Robertson. The tight end hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Adding Jack Jones by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the tight end spot they never got to.
