Draft Grade — Ravens

Larceny in slot 248 lands the Ravens a B, Baker and all. Somebody in the 248th pick was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Ravens sat still while Javon Baker, the No. 186 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.
If Wright pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
Pick Analysis
Pick30
Rnd1
Amarius Mims
In slot 30 they get protection for the quarterback at a price that makes it sweeter. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick62
Rnd2
Quinyon Mitchell
They will replay Quinyon Mitchell at pick No. 62 for years; that is how good the value is. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick93
Rnd3
Brenden Rice
Brenden Rice in the 93rd pick should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. It fills a real need, too.
Pick131
Rnd4
Jaylen Wright
Jaylen Wright in the Round 4 slot is a bet on their own eyes over everyone else's grade. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick134
Rnd4
Blake Fisher
Blake Fisher at No. 134 is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick164
Rnd5
Jordan Travis
Somehow Jordan Travis was still sitting there in pick 164, and they pounced on premier quarterback value. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick226
Rnd7
Tarheeb Still
They barely believed it either: Tarheeb Still still on the board at the 226th overall pick. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick248
Rnd7
Javon Baker
Javon Baker at Round 7, Pick 28 is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. A need, and now a little less of one.
