The Bears left with their quarterback, and a A- to match. They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Jayden Daniels is the Bears' quarterback, full stop.
They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. Getting Prather where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.
It is not that Stover is a bad player; it is that the Bears had louder needs to answer first. That running back hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.
If Murphy pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.
In the end it comes back to Jayden Daniels, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
