The Sam Hartman selection is the head-turner. The Texans reached 84 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered. They executed a plan and it shows in the A-.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. They punted on tight end, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Rosengarten falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

Spending an early pick on cornerback with tight end open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

It is a haul that will look even better come September.
