Draft Grade — Bills

FutureD+
A masterclass at the trade table lands the Bills a B. The Bills ran the phones like sharks, prying loose value on deal after deal until the ledger was lopsided.
They covered a lot of ground and still skipped linebacker, which is a strange place to end up. However the rest shakes out, Davis at that price is a win they earned.
The Cypress II reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
Pick Analysis
Pick27
Rnd1
Ollie Gordon II
In slot 27 they get a featured back. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick38
Rnd2
Emery Jones Jr.
Emery Jones Jr. at Round 2, Pick 6 nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick123
Rnd4
J.C. Davis
They let J.C. Davis come to them and pounced at the 123rd pick. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick187
Rnd6
Fentrell Cypress II
Fentrell Cypress II at pick No. 187 is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. A minor need, but a need all the same.
