Best value of the weekend goes to the Texans for Ransaw: B+.

The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Texans watched Caleb Ransaw slide 30 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped running back, which is a strange place to end up. Thornton Jr. has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

The Kevin Dotson pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
