Best value of the weekend goes to the Texans for Brooks: B.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Texans were there to profit. Tahj Brooks, the No. 199 name on the board, should have been long gone before the 236th overall pick. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.

That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The roster is better shaped than it was, with running back chief among the fixes.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
