The Texans robbed the room for Giddens. Final grade: B.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Texans were there to profit. DJ Giddens, the No. 171 name on the board, should have been long gone before slot 193. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.

Adding Chase Brown by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
