The steal of the weekend belongs to the Texans and Hancock: B.

Somebody in slot 241 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Texans sat still while Jordan Hancock, the No. 215 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. On the needs board they went 3 of 8, with running back the one that mattered most.

They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
