The Texans let Thornton Jr. fall and pounced. Final grade: A.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Texans were there to profit. Dont'e Thornton Jr., the No. 180 name on the board, should have been long gone before slot 257. Little to argue with here, and the A says so.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want.

The Connor McGovern pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Donovan Jackson and all.
