You build a draft on nights like this. Luke McCaffrey had no business being available in No. 187, and the Texans did the only sane thing and turned in the card.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. The Jones pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with edge rusher, interior defensive lineman and other spots still on the board. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

The Jones reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade.
