The weekend has a hole in the middle of it named wide receiver, a need the Texans walked right past. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

They are betting Hartman proves the room right and everyone else wrong. Landing Jones that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. On the needs board they went 4 of 8, with running back the one that mattered most.

The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.
