The board owed the Texans one, and it paid up: Jordan Magee, the No. 220 name on the board, sitting there at the 247th overall pick like a gift left on the doorstep. No fireworks, but a solid B-.

Leaving wide receiver unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Reaching for Hartman left real value on the table behind him.

Running back is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the wide receiver spot they never got to.
