The Texans clearly saw something nobody else did in Lake McRee, taking him 24 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced.

The Reese steal is the beam this whole class leans on. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher.

Running back was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. They bet on numbers rather than a single high pick.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
