There is a lot to like until you notice wide receiver is still a hole. The Texans never got to the one that mattered most. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

The Kilgore pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. The Harkey reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade.

They left with running back solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the wide receiver spot they never got to.
